We set up infrastructure so none of that depends on one person's memory. Everything written down, everything repeatable, everything monitored — and, if you need it, with data that never leaves an EU region.
We work mostly on AWS, with applications in Docker containers and infrastructure described in Terraform. That means the environment can be recreated from scratch out of the code — not a server somebody configured by hand two years ago that nobody remembers.
Deployments run through CI/CD pipelines with a staging environment: code is tested, goes to an environment identical to production, and only then goes live. If something breaks, rolling back is one command.
